Just a note that we have been married for three years today. This last year has really been the most eventful to date, what with graduation and moving away from family and friends coupled with the strains of pregnancy. I know that we will handle the next and the next and the next years with as much love and resilience. I can only imagine the adventure that is to come, and I couldn't think of a better partner with whom to share it.

A special thank you to Patty and Ken as well, Matt's parents-- who have been our inspiration. I tell you both this on your anniversary, and it is equally true on our own: Your marriage sets a shining example for us. I hope with all my heart that we can follow in your footsteps and someday celebrate thirty and forty and even fifty years together.
My wonderful, supportive, ridiculous husband, I love you.
