We had our 36 week appointment yesterday. For those of you that are interested, I am dilated to one centimeter at this point and 70% effaced. I need to get to 10cm and 100%. The baby is also head down and in a great position for delivery. She has dropped into my pelvis and currently at -2 station. This terminology is brand new to me, but it confirms the funny imagery I've concocted for when people ask "When is that baby coming?" It's as though she is traveling now, but will be arriving around the 27th. Currently she is at the Minus Two Station.
The house is very near to ready, and we'll be making our final trip to Babies R Us sometime next week. Although I should get my hospital bag packed, I am finding it difficult because most of the things I will want with me, I am still needing to use at home.
