Our 20-week anatomy ultrasound was on Wednesday morning. I drank all the water they required and dance impatiently in the waiting room at 8:10am while trying to hang on to an even more impatient Aurelia. The moment came, as they tend to, and we saw the little baby's features fuzzy as day in black and white.
We can tell these things for sure:
1. this baby, like our first, will be long
2. this baby will be big
3. this baby likes to shake it
4. this baby is a BOY!!
As tiny as it is, the ultrasound tech was adamant that that little smudge down there is a penis, and girl babies do not have testicles. Hence, the diagnosis of BOY.
We get one of each kind, and I get to buy a tiny little baby boy suit for holidays and weddings. Go, me! (Well, technically, go Matt's sperm!) Naming him is, however, proving to be a challenge.
