As you know, we hosted the Pacific Northwest chapter of the Sebby clan at our house for Thanksgiving again this year. It was a shorter visit than usual, but we spent less time asking each other "So, whaddaya wanna do now?" that way.
Thursday was spent bustling about my tiny tiny kitchen, playing games (oh how I miss adult games...) and watching Aurelia smear mashed potatoes through her hair. Matthew and Uncle Thomas attempted a midnight run to Best Buy, but were scared off by a line that wrapped around the building... That will teach me to send men on a shopping trip. Friday, Grandma Patty and I hit up Target with the kids for some Black Friday shopping. Not too impressed this year, but we got some TV on DVD, new sheets and printer ink (for my coups!), all for under $60. After that, we went for a swim in the indoor heated pool at the hotel. That was awesome! As much as I love swimming, it is even more fun to watch my daughter enjoying herself. Her favorite swim buddy was actually Grandpa Ken. Grandma Patty and T.J. took a little snooze on the steamy deck while Grandpa swirled the toddler around the deep (5 foot) end. Regrettably I forgot my camera, but here are some shots of the weekend anyway. (Sorry, Patty; I don't have a good one of you and Aurelia--hopefully Thomas does!!)
