I'm not gonna lie; this is getting boring. I thought I could keep it interesting. I thought it would feel rewarding. Seven weeks and eleven pounds down, and my patience is waning. Although my children are not truly to blame for my inactivity, neither are they helpful. I had this darling plan to wake my ass up at 5:00am (waaaayy before my family!!) to go sweat it out at the gym. Two things: the first, my son has started waking up around that time, happy as a clam. The second, waking up with him has taught me precisely how much I detest getting out of bed that early. Eh. This, too, shall pass.
I've been working a lot this week, and the rain sucks the energy from me too. In the end, all of this feels like me searching for a reason for my lack of motivation. I think, maybe, I'm just bored of the whole thing. Turns out, steady weight-loss is not a thrill ride. Meh.

Good for you for keeping up with it! Remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint. How many exciting marathons have you seen?!? :) Good luck!
