Aaand, we're back!

If only for a brief update:

We have moved! (yes, again.)  We were forced out of 1400 square feet by a overgrowth of moisture and mold.  In a word, ew.  The process was slow; we took our time finding a place to be (and STAY for a bit), but when we finally started moving our things out, we discovered something even worse.  Mold on our stuff.  What??!  Gross!  Yeah.  Our bed and mattress, my dresser, a bunch of my shoes-- just super skeevy in general.  So, now, we've not only been dealing with the loss of about 450 square feet of living space, we've had to fight with the homeowner, the rental agency and two separate insurance companies over who is responsible for replacing our damaged items.  It's awful.  We still don't have a conclusion, and we are leaving for Chicago in three days.

Blech.

Life has no hope of getting back to normal for at least a few weeks.  We'll be in Illinois for the Hansen Family Reunion for a week, and then we have to resolve the horrendous sleeping-on-an-airbed situation as well as put the rest of our lives back together.  Then, six weeks later, I'm taking the kids for a four-week-long sabbatical from our regular lives to tour the east coast with the Burghoffer/Gerholds.  S'gonna be awesome (I desperately hope).

Anyway, Thaddeus is a giant, but his head is too heavy for him to get up and walk.  His favorite thing to use the couch or (air) mattress to support himself and "dance" while Matt "sings".  Aurelia likes to feed him and ask "Mmm!  S'that good?"  She also runs around with her hands behind her back like a superhero (super heroes do that, right?)

Eh.  Nine-thirty rolls around, and my eyes can't stay open.  So much going on.... Do I really have to do it all again tomorrow?
