The camera battery that never dies. I know this can't be a new concept, but an everlasting battery would be infinitely helpful around here. I keep my little point-and-shoot camera in my bag in case something awesome happens while we're out on the town. But I can't tell you how many times I have pulled the thing out for a "Kodak Moment" only to have the little battery icon, crossed and blinking ominously. The screen goes blank; the lens retracts sleepily. The thing is dead, yet again, and my munchkins have moved on from their pose. By the time we've returned home from the outing and I have the opportunity to plug the battery in to recharge, I have no interest in photographing them-- only in sequestering them in their beds so we all can get some personal time. So I forget. So, now when we are heading out the door to yet another event that could prove photo-worthy, my should-be trusty diaper-bag camera lies dormant in it's pocket. And, come to think of it, I don't know where the darn charger is.
We have some updates, and I'll post about those later. Maybe when I have some pictures for illustration.

Cell phones are a wonderful alternative since we usually keep those charged ;)
