Fall is for Cinnamon Applesauce

Cinnamon applesauce in the crock-pot.... Mmmm, I can't wait for my house to start smelling like this rather than feet (yes, it's that bad; wanna come over?).

I borrowed the recipe from here: Crockpot Cinnamon Applesauce

My recipe has the following (Honest Mama) modifications, however:
My fruit basket was full of red apples.  Three different kinds, even though I could not tell you what specifically.  Neither did I care.  Applesauce is applesauce.  I don't go around criticizing you for a lack of Mutsu apples in your sauce, do I??  I also did not carefully measure the sugar or cinnamon.  Who does that?

Anyway, I can't imagine my kids won't scarf it down.  Ya know, cause they eat rocks and chalk for snacks, so sweet, warm, creamy applesauce is going to be an improvement.

{Also, I don't use my slow cooker unless I have these.  They are amazing and worth every.single.penny.  Seriously-- if you haven't already tried these, do so.  Feel free to thank me in the form of homemade chili.)
