Release from Captivity - Day Three

This is Matthew.  I write these words to preserve them for antiquity.

It is day three of my release from captivity - AKA Jamie and the kids are visiting family without me.  The other prisoners and I are still alive, though some of the basic systems are breaking down.

Food:  Max is the only one who has been fed every day.  The fish and I are on an every other day schedule, which I hope to remedy soon.

Sleep:  After the first day (I slept for 15 hours straight) we are back to our normal 7 hours a night.  I have made some minor adjustments (I use Jamie's pillow and sleep diagonally across the bed), and expect to be able to maintain this schedule until the Return.

Activities:  There has been no action on the chores.  The elves that normally fill the fridge, clean the dishes, and take out the trash have been suspisiously quiet.  I am starting to fear that they are planning a coup.

Television:  Finally a success.  I am completely caught up on all of the shows that Jamie and the kids do not enjoy sharing with me.  Tonight I start on the movies.

Prognosis:  Not good.  I have developed a severe case of Stockholm syndrome.  I miss my jailers and have not adjusted well yet to life without them.
