Ma! Mom! Mama! Mommy!

For those of you that do not watch the TV show, The Family Guy, I apologize for all the references I am going to make here that you don't understand. You may think it's stupid; it's not your kind of humor. But I think the show is ingenious and brainless (and despite the oxymoron therein, I stand by my commitment to both of those adjectives in this description). The jokes are always inappropriate and even when a feminist such as myself should be gasping and yelling angrily (shut up, Lois) I can't help but laugh. Because they make fun of everybody. And it's good not to take yourself too seriously. In my (humble?) opinion.

Anyway, I told you that to tell you this:

A day in my life is alot like an episode of The Family Guy. Not just the dynamics (Mom, Dad, Girl, Boy, Dog) but also the shenanigans. From the clothes Aurelia wears to the things that come out of her mouth From what Thaddeus finds interesting to the stupid shit the dog needs to bark at. Matthew comes home with stories of asking random women if they are mentally disabled or how there is so.much.poo in this house. I always have some kind of seemingly brilliant project or idea in the works, and Matthew just stares at me with narrowed eyes. We joke about Matt's weight and subsequent gravitational pull (only fat women are fat). Just imagine the general chaos and noise of it all. If you watch the show, you get it. If you don't, it's not worth explaining (even though we all know the funniest jokes are the ones that need explaining).
