Weigh-In Wednesday

Last week, I thought I kicked my butt.  I exercised nine times in seven days, including an awesome 60-minute kick-boxing ass-whooping.  Yoga, walking, 7:00am aerobics with a toddler clawing at my legs.  I stayed under my calorie goal six days (if only by 10).  I drank at least the recommended 64oz of water, if not more, each day.  I experimented with healthy recipes, including making tomato soup from scratch (yeah, I'm proud of that).  I have resisted ice cream and Wendy's.  I am not trying to brag here; I am getting to the rub.

I gained two pounds.  What?  How?  Apparently it's something to do with water-retention and muscle-building.  Delightful things, true, but my focus is the fat-loss at this point.  Grr. 

Anyway, I'm enjoying myself.  I'm not saying I'm liking exercise now, but I do feel excited to get to it and great once it's over.  I am still loving the ladies completing this challenge with me, as well!

  1. You should also do inches in certain spots on your body such as hips, thighs, waist, arms, etc. That would help to see you are building muscle and fitting in your clothes better is cool too :)
