Things My Daughter Does...

...when she thinks no one is watching. Or maybe she doesn't care who may be watching. Either way, it's hysterical.

Today, I caught her giving raspberry kisses to a picture of a chicken in one of her books. There was so much spit! When I broke out the camera, she decided to 'say cheese' rather than continue her nonsense.

She growls at her food. I load her tray up with finger foods (I am ashamed to admit I don't like a messy eater, so I we don't attempt utensils very often...) and I wander around straightening, putzing in general. From around the corner, I can hear her grumbling and...I am having a difficult time describing the sounds that come out of her mouth.

She pulls a pillow off the couch and lays down on top of it, belly down. She then rests her head on her outstretched arms and talks quietly to herself or her imaginary companions.

There is a white stuffed bunny that she carries around with her (she needs both arms around it in a giant hug to hold it) so that she can drop and fall on top of it.

She 'reads' books upside down, entirely sure that she is doing the right thing.

And that was just so far today.
