For those of you that don't know, Aurelia remained toothless well into her tenth month. She is still, at 22 months, struggling to fill out those cute gaps in her stubborn gums. So, imagine my surprise when I noticed two little buds forming in the lower half of Thad's mouth! (Did you imagine it? I was pretty surprised.) This announcement is a tad overdue; the actual arrival of those miniature pearls was about a week and a half ago. (Tuesday the 24th of April to be precise.) He is just getting so big already! The passage of time has felt so different with the boy child. Seven months with the girl felt.like.seven.months. I can even believe whole-heartedly that she is almost two. I cannot fathom where the time went for my son. I love this age. He's starting to think about forward-propulsion; he has the best laugh. Overall, he is a happy baby-- strong, healthy and happy. (And, I don't want to jinx anything, but he's slept through the night twice in a row now.) To look at him, you'd never know he had kind of a rocky beginning.
Say cheese!
Can you see them??
(isn't he the sweetest?)
Aurelia got to draw on her chalkboard I made for her. She loves it! (Until I take the chalk away because she's drawing on other things or eating it...)
This is my pretty girl dressed like a bag lady who hit the jackpot at Goodwill... or like her daddy dressed her up real nice.
I had a bit of a flashback of those psychotic toys from Toy Story when I found this little gem.
